Mae’r llyfr ‘Cofion Nain’ yn cofnodi rhai o gerddi mae fy Nain yn eu trysori. Er dioddef o ddementia, mae hi yn ei helfen yn adrodd y cerddi. Fe fydd y llyfr hwn yn ei hatgoffa ohonynt ac yn sicrhau na fydd y cerddi byth yn cael eu hanghofio.
Pwrpas y llyfr hwn yw annog pobl i wneud llyfr cofion eu hunain ar gyfer y rhai sy’n dioddef o ddementia. Fe fydd gwneud llyfr o’r fath yn dod â theuluoedd at ei gilydd i ail fyw atgofion ac i ddathlu’r dyddiau da mewn cyfnodau anodd. The book ‘Cofion Nain’ records some of the poems my Nain treasures. Even though she suffers from dementia, she is in her element reciting these poems. This book will remind her of those poems and will ensure that the poems will never be forgotten.
The purpose of this book is to encourage other people to prepare a similar book for those suffering from dementia. A book like this will bring families closer together to relive memories and to celebrate good times in difficult periods. Remembering old memories by reciting, listening to and reading poems will be of assistance to those who are suffering by giving an interest and comfort to them.
